"Scream," ordered the blue-haired young Apostle as he hovered on his board a few inches. His eyes were narrowed and when there was no reaction to his order, Leon barked his demand again as his comrades Kyoko and Charden appeared beside him.
Adam sat against the brick wall that was indented beneath his body due to the impact. He could feel that his ribcage was fractured but it wasn't anything out of the norm. At least not for him. His whole outfit was covered in slum water and dirt. An awful appearance for most but in the Slums, it wasn't anything new. And neither was getting into fights so most passerbys kept on walking by as if they saw nothing.
"If you want me to scream... If you want me to yell for help. You're going to have to make me," Adam said determined to ignore his aches and pains. The blonde boy stood up and wiped the blood off his cut lip and spat on the ground next to him. His saliva was also mixed with blood.
"Waah~ I didn't think such a cute boy would be so stubborn!" Kyoko said and waved a hand dismissively but she attacked as well. The girl inhaled deeply and set out a fireball towards Adam. Adam dived to his left, hitting the ground hard once again. Bruising various parts of his body however a flame seemed to have caught on him. It burned. Adam screamed and submerged the flames that were starting to grow in the dirty water that formed a puddle from rain.
"There we go!" the Apostles cheered. "Such a beautiful yelp," giggled Kyoko.
This act, this little play was set up by Creed in order to get Train's attention. They would continue to attack Adam until his savior appeared and if Train didn't appear the more serious the three would become in order to attract more and more attention. And let's face it, Adam wouldn't stand a chance. Especially when Creed ordered him not to attack his brothers and sister. Still, Adam couldn't help but be pissed that he was getting hurt. Hurry up, Uncle Train!

The cat wasn't that far away. He had been wandering most of his time nowadays. The once feared Black Cat had been tamed many times over by a Sweeper who had attracted his attention in more ways than one. It was hard for the cat to deal with knowing that he no longer had her with him anymore. Train sighed as he sat on the top of a roof. It was near the slums but he wasn't exactly in them at this point. The cat was rather tired that morning. He hadn't really been moving much.
It had taken a lot out of Train to recover from the battle he had endured not to long ago. It seemed like everyone wanted him dead. Train put a hand on his chest where he knew bandages where from the previous fight under his shirt and black coat. Train sighed though, he was still injured so it hurt to move around a bunch. He hated that very fact. It had honestly been under Rinslet's order that Train couldn't do anything. She had been a pain ever since he had met her. She, of course, was only trying to help the cat but he saw it as more of a pain than anything.
Train laid against the roof as his bright yellow eyes watched as the sun began to set in the sky not far from where the cat lay. He had his arms behind his head as he let the last bit of sun hit his body. Train remembered a lot of times when he would do this. It was kind of a thing for him. That was when a memory of Saya popped into his head. She had always come chasing him up here telling him it was a waste to spend his time like this, but then she would also say it was really relaxing.
Train sighed and removed his arms from behind his head. He sat up slowly just to make sure he didn't mess up his wounds any more than what was already done. He sat up placing an arm over his right knee. He wished such thoughts wouldn't be running around in his mind. He hated when memories of Saya came up. They only reminded him of how much he missed her. They also reminded him of how it had been his fault she had died. He hadn't been able to protect her. Train let his head drop slightly as if that would erase the thoughts from his mind.
Dusk was setting in now as Train got to his feet. He only winced a little so that was a good sign, the day before he couldn't even move let alone stand. He was a fast healer, but not even Train should be forcing his body so much as he was. He stood slowly turning back towards the ladder he had used to get up the building. He hated that thing, it was so much easier jumping but he didn't want to cause any more pain to his body than it was already in. Train knew he was already pushing himself to much.
He sighed again, something that was becoming rather familiar to the cat as of late. He was about to head toward the ladder when his rather sensitive hearing picked something up. He walked to the edge of the roof and looked down. Two teenagers where chatting to each other. "Did you see that? That poor boy!~ Shouldn't we of helped him?" the girl of the duo asked. The boy simply shook his head. "Its life, hun, if we had tried anything we would of been just like him." the boy said.
Train looked up. A fight in the slums huh? Rinslet was going to be very upset with him, but Train was a cat after all. And curiosity seemed to be in his very nature. Train walked to the edge of the building and stopped. It wasn't a long jump, perhaps, he could try warming up his body to it again? That was when his sensitive ears caught the sound. A tiny yelp of complete and udder pain. Instantly Train's body stiffened and mentally all the pain and everything else went away.
He jumped without taking and took off with his inhuman speed that made him what he was. At that point no pain crossed Train's mind. He raced toward the slums. There was nothing else on his mind, while his body was literally tearing itself apart. His chest was on fire the ribs that were healing only knocking themselves apart again. When he finally reached them he saw what was going on. A small boy being attacked by, what where they? Train didn't honestly have time to care.
With a flash he had Hades from his side pocket as it flashed against the light from the now darkened sky. He shot three rounds. Each one missing by an inch but close enough to show he wasn't playing around. He jumped down and landed lightly. However, his body react kind of funny. Train staggered a bit. He wasn't paying attention to that though. His gun was aimed at the three who interested him. "Who are you? And don't worry, next time I shoot I wont miss." he growled.
Only then did the pain start kicking back in. It was so bad and so furious that Train almost collapsed right there from it. He only staggered however, but that still was something not normal for the cat. He didn't let Hades' aim falter though. He couldn't collapse not right now. This kid needed him. Train could barely stand right now, man had he been an idiot. He didn't let them know that though, he hid behind his once feared glare, though on the inside he felt like his body was going to shut down on him.

He could hear it in the distance. Footsteps that is from the rooftops and then a light rush of air before three bullets penetrated the ground near Leon, Charden, and Kyoko. Train.. An rush of excitement dulled Adam's pain. Tran voiced out words but in Adam's excitement he couldn't comprehend what was being said. He looked behind to see exactly as what Creed had described to him time and time again. However, Adam wasn't too caught up in his thoughts to see Train stumble as he landed. He's hurt...
"Who are we?" Charden said in a calm voice. The man adjusted his glasses before smiling politely. "We're Apostles of the Stars. Followers of Creed Diskenth. And this boy?"
"He's getting in our way," Leon finished simply and stuck out his tongue. "Now you're in our way to. Why don't you just leave before we're forced to kill you both?"
If Adam was paying attention to what Brother Leon was saying, he would've been furious. However, he stood in awe of meeting the one person that Papa admired. The killer, Papa's partner. The only thing Train was missing was the killer eyes that he was said to once have... but Adam knew exactly why they weren't there. It was because of the girl that Papa called witch. Because of Aunty Saya, Train couldn't look his best. With his brown hair and golden killer eyes... Train wasn't the same person Creed loved and Papa wanted that back. He wanted that Train back.
Adam's eyes flickered to Leon as his brother conjured up a ball of wind and tossed it at the two. Kyoko followed in attack as Charden watched as an overseer to make sure things went according to plan. The homunculus looked back at Train and dashed towards the man. Adam took Train's hand and pulled him into an alleyway. Out of view for a few moments. The dodged attacks slammed into the ground.
"I appreciate your help and all but I don't know if you can take them in your condition," the boy gestured to Train's torso. He was sharp. Especially since he knew his father wouldn't overexaggerate about Train. This guy was supposed to be near flawless when it came to fighting but he stumbled on such a landing.
"Come out! Comeout! Wherever you are!" Kyoko called out as she turned the corner into the alley. At the same time Leon had come from above. "Found you.." the schoolgirl sang before blowing flames at Adam and Train once again. Leon was beginning to form a tornado on the other side of them. Adam and Train were trapped on either sides of the alley.
Damnit! It's like they're becoming even more serious now that Uncle Train is here. ...I guess it's alright as long as he believes it though... Adam thought and looked up at Train to see his reaction to the situation that they were put in. As the flames from Kyoko closed in, Adam could feel the heat on his skin and scorch the parts of his skin that were already red from her previous attack. Adam grit his teeth as the seering pain shot up his leg. His wincing made his torso move too abruptly which caused his already fractured ribs to add to the pain.
"I-I don't want to die.." Adam mumbled softly but purposely loud enough for Train to hear it.

Train didn't believe the words that came from Charden's mouth. HIs eyes lost there momentary glare to switch to one of confusion. Creed, was dead. He had seen his death, Saya, had killed him. She had shot him through the chest when he had almost killed Train. Train was in shock for a moment. He didn't believe any of this. He barely heard anything else that was said. His body pulsed with pain and it made him jerk a tiny bit. But his mind was no longer there. It was back in his past watching the moment his friend fell before him.
"Creed died, about a month ago." Train said flatly. It was more to himself than anyone, but it could definitively be heard. Had he been wrong? Had Creed really been alive all this time? And no one knew? Surely Chronos? No, something had to be wrong. He glanced up angry now, trying to keep his mind off the pain that was threatening to consume him. Train didn't like the fact he could barely move without pain scorching down his body in some way and or form. That was when they decided to attack.
Train stiffened ready to move but the boy got to him first. Before train knew it, he was being pulled and naturally he followed the boy. They were pulled out of the way of the attack for the time being. Only then did Train concentrate on what he was saying. His chest? At the mention of it, Train's thoughts seemed to return to him and so too did the pain. Train's eyes flashed with pain that normally wasn't visible in the cats eyes. His hand caught himself from falling against the wall.
This was definitively not good. That was when he heard the girls voice. He instantly turned her way causing another spasm to claw at his chest. He tried to ignore it but his body wanted nothing to do with it. It was tearing him to pieces and the pain was getting worse. Fire shot at them from one side, only then did Train notice Leon, his reaction time was slowing down, too fast. Train's eyes were half filled with pain and half angry. As they closed in Train hated the thought.
With his last bit of strength he moved. He grabbed Adam with the lightning quick reflexes that were his to control. He barely heard his statement over the roar of sound that was hitting Train's head. He pulled Adam into his arms and then he ran to the wall jumping from side to side. He was moving to fast for the wind and fire to hit him in time. It was on the last bit that his speed gave out on him just a tad. He could feel the attacks hit just a bit to his back and legs, but he got them out of there protecting Adam.
It was as soon as they hit the flat room that Train fell. He seemed to have tripped and Adam fell out of his arms, Train rolling on the roof to a stop. His body hurt and felt like it was on fire. Train breathing heavily didn't think he could get up but he forced himself to. Every movement sent waves of pain through his already hurt body. He could barely stand and his coat was damaged by the flames he had taken. Train would not last long if this was drawn out. He pulled Hades back out awaiting the attack he knew was to come.
Through all of train's faces he was not ready for a fight. Right now, Train, was practically killing himself. The more he fought the more he endangered himself, it was now easy to tell that Train Heartnet, number 13 was seriously wounded.

To Adam's relief, Train didn't let him down. The man pulled Adam up into his arms and began to jump from wall-to-wall going higher until they reached the roof and finally Train's body gave out. Adam fell onto the roof and landed on his side. He heard his ribs crack again. Adam held back a scream and forced his body to become completely still. So much pain. He couldn't help but think that his siblings were getting pay back for something but Adam couldn't think of anything they would be angry about him for.
The boy very slowly looked over to Train who looked half-dead but still held his gun up to where he predicted his opponents would appear from. Adam admired Train already and he could definitely see why his father admired him too. Adam attempted to crawl over to Train but his burnt leg prohibited him from getting far. Adam looked over to his burnt flesh. With a grimace, he pushed out his lower lip into a pout. Luckily, the injury wouldn't leave a scar. Probably because Adam wasn't exactly a normal human in the first place.
"What's wrong, Black Cat? Creed is always constantly praising you! Why are you so weak now?" Leon yelled. He seemed angry and envious that Creed thought Train was better. "Come on!"
But that's when Train shot. It was off and Adam couldn't get why the bullet was so far away. Until he realized it was planned. The bullet for Hades ricocheted and slammed into Leon's board, causing him to stumble. Following the bullet was the Black Cat at a speed that was close to unattainable for just about everyone except for Train Heartnet. Leon's board broke and he began to fall but at the last second the blue-haired boy must a rush of air underneath him and set him down easily onto his feet. Adam's eyes glimmered with admiration for his Uncle.
"THAT NO GOOD CAT! I'LL KILL YOU!" Leon screamed. The wind began to pick up around the him fast. It was like a tornado was beginning to surround him and he was safe in the eye of his own self-created storm.
"Leon," It was Charden, "Kyoko. Let's go. Creed needs us and besides... Creed would kill us if we hurt his precious Cat."
"NO! I'LL KILL HIM!" Leon protested and charged but before he could get far Charden had made a small flesh wound and a whip formed of his own blood wrapped around the enraged boy.
Adam listened to the three play out a quarrel on whether or not to leave. He couldn't help but question Leon's acting. It seemed like he really wanted to fight. However, Charden literally pulled the two young Apostles away while still reasoning with them. He kept on saying how it wasn't fair because it seemed like their opponent was already injured and it wouldn't be right for any decent man to continue on attacking. That shut Leon up especially when Charden told Leon he was being childish. Adam let out a sigh as tears formed as in his eyes and ran down his cheeks. He rested his cheek against the roof. Gosh.. They play pretend really well...
"T-Thanks," Adam breathed out and shuddered before going on. "T-They took my parents. All of the sudden, they appeared at my house and took 'em. That man they call Creed and some other lady... I-I don't know why but they wanted my parents!" the boy choked out between sobs. Adam buried his face into his forearm. The tears weren't hard too create considering how much pain he was in. He couldn't help but think that Train was in more.
"I-I need to find them. I need to get back my parents.." Adam said with his voice muffled. "I want Papa and Mama back!"
Adam's mind, despite his explanation of how things went down only a few moments ago, was on something else completely. He wanted to know if Train would really make it easy for Adam to stay with his group. He wanted to know what Eve was like. He wanted to know why Train was so severely injured already. His mind filled with questions and excitement. For so long he could only be told stories and read them. He could only wait to meet the notorious Number 13 and the girl that Adam was created for and now... he would experience it all.
He would experience life with them at its fullest content before breaking the spell that Aunty Saya had placed on Train. The only thing that Adam would miss while staying with Uncle Train would be the freedom to kill anyone who displeased him. But it was under Papa's orders and under the orders of Creed, Adam couldn't do much.
The boy resurfaced from his thoughts, the tears still racing down and the snot clogged his nose making him sound a little nasally as he whimpered over the lost of his "kidnapped parents". Adam sniffled and looked up at Train.
"Hey... Mister. Are you alright?" Adam forced his upper body to pull him closer to his savior. "What happened to you anyway?" Adam said his voice sounding odd because of his stuffy nose, "Before saving me that is."

Train didn't let his eyes waver. He could just barely feel his body shaking despite his efforts to stop it from doing such. Train watched as just as he expected the youngest of the boys came from hiding. He shouted at Train. Train couldn't help but feel a glare forming in his features. The words made the cat forget the pain he felt for a split moment. His eyes became dark, not as they had been once before but close to it. Creed's name was beginning to irritate him. The cat still didn't believe his old friend was really still alive just yet, and hearing his name over and over was really bothering the cat beyond what he could take.
Train let out a low growl. Before the bluenette could say anything else Train shot. It wasn't directly at him. The bullet was actually nowhere near the boy. It actually seemed to be aiming toward the wall. They would probably think it was because of Train's injuries, they were wrong. The bullet ricocheted off the wall and hit different things before finding its way into the boys board. It left a crack there but it seemed that he wasn't paying attention anymore. It gave train the opportunity to move. He rushed forward. Again, his pain was gone. It seemed when the cat had something he wanted nothing could stop him.
He lept, moving through the air. He moved right past Leon who was floating not that far from the roof. Train touched against the opposite wall before striking down with Hades onto the boys board right where his bullet had hit. He probably brought some attention to himself, cause when the cat's gun hit a shattering sound was heard. The crack deepened and would most likely brake the board in half. With the speed that was only Black Cats, Train quickly jumped onto the boys board which would probably only speed up the braking process, and then quickly jumped back onto the roof not staggering and instant. It almost looked like Train wasn't in pain or anything.
Train smirked. Hades was drawn in his right hand as he waited for the boy who had insulted him to fall. That was when Train looked at Adam. He moved over to him slowly, as if his body was heavier than it looked. It seemed the Cat had no more interest in the three who had attacked anymore. As Adam talked about what was going on Train's eyes softened. He stopped in front of the boy before he slowly bent down and gently pulled Adam once again into his arms. It was a good thing Train was mentally blocking out the pain right now, otherwise he wouldn't be able to move, let alone fight or carry Adam.
For the first time Train actually spoke. "Its ok kid, I'm not gonna leave you, and I'll help you any way I can, but right now.. we need to go." he said. His eyes had kindness in them and there was no lie there. Train fully intended to do what he had promised. Train didn't give promises so emptily. It wasn't like him. It was just explaining all this to Rinslet that was going to be a pain in the butt. Train didn't like it and he could feel a small twitch in his eye. He couldn't help but feel a bad vibe here though, and his vibes where always right on.
He didn't like the feeling he was getting, like that kid wasn't done with him. Especially since he had broken his board. Train knew it was a good idea to probably leave now. Train looked down at Adam in his arms when he asked his question. In a flash Train's eyes filled with pain but not physical, but mental. Train, had been injured when he had been attacked and failed to protect Saya. He closed his eyes and then opened them again. The pain was still there but not as much as before.
"I got in a fight, I couldn't win. It hurt a lot more than just my body, but as of right now, I'm not really in the best condition. There's no reason to worry though." he said. Then he looked behind him one more time making sure there was no one after him. His body stiffened though just in case. He could probably put up a fight a bit longer if he had to. It wouldn't be the best idea though, especially since by doing that, he was tearing himself a part. There was one thing Train knew for sure. If he wasn't killed here, Rinslet was going to do that for these guys.
That was a fact the cat knew very well, and he dreaded it.

Adam felt his chest well up with happiness at Train's words. 'Papa.. Papa... Uncle Train said that he won't leave me. He'll take care of me just like you said!' More tears rushed down his cheeks but they were from overwhelming joy instead of pain or sorrow. He couldn't stop crying especially when he felt the warmth of Train's arms around him. Adam returned the hug and buried his face, cherishing the moment. He couldn't remember the last time he cried so much. Oh wait... Yes, he could.
Besides the time where he broke bones for the first time, it was the time when he had first killed. What he couldn't recall is if he was sad about it or happy about it. All he could recall was the rush of tears and the snot that dribbled down his face. Oh it wasn't such a pretty sight at all. For Adam or his victim but in Adam's warped mind. It was worth it. It was always worth it in the end because Papa Creed would praise Adam...
As Train answered his next question he remembered when Creed sent his family to kidnap Aunty Saya the witch. His family hurt Uncle Train but Creed claimed he was protecting Saya because he was still under her spell so the Apostles were forced to fight him. Because Creed had said it, because those words came from his Papa... Adam believed it.
Adam looked behind Train as the man looked behind his shoulder to see if any more attacks coming. The blonde actually didn't expect anymore but he was proven wrong. Leon, after calming down a bit, seemed angry once again and now was hurling himself at Black Cat and Train. Leon halted and levitated for a while then managed to get in two wind slashes that took his place of charging at the two.
That's when something snapped in Adam's mind and the side that Creed had personally trained surfaced for a few moments. Just when I finally meet Uncle Train. When I finally am able to meet him and be hugged like this... You want to interrupt me, you low-life! Adam felt his eyes narrow and his pupils feel as if they became slits. Rage had taken place of Adam's happiness and it was all conveyed to Leon as the two made eye contact.
The blonde watched as his sibling's face drain of its color and Leon's pupils shrink out of the fear that was overwhelming his heart. He knew if Adam released that side that Creed had personally created to kill in the most brutal of ways he would be killed. Even if Leon was supposedly Adam's brother. Creed had made sure to brainwash Adam to think Creed was the most important person along with Train and Eve. So in comparison, Leon's life meant nothing especially if he had unnecessarily attacked. Adam's rage was just barely under control but it wanted out...badly. It was for the sake of Papa's orders and the mission that Adam was given that he held it back.
"A-Ahh.. Mister! Let's go!" Adam's eyes went back to normal and all anger drained out of him for the moment. The boy tried to stand up but his knees had surprisingly gave out from underneath him.

Train had looked back over his shoulder out of habit. Honestly, if it wasn't for his many years in Chronos, he probably wouldn't of done it at all. Luckily, he had. As the cat looked back his pupils slitted. This was the same eye Creed knew. The one that the man sought after even though Train had told him he had given up that life a long time ago. Creed never listened though, so Train had been forced to fight his friend. Because of Chronos, it had probably been the hardest thing the cat had ever done with himself. He couldn't do it to be honest. The only reason he had survived that fight was because Saya had shot Creed in the back to save his life. That was when Creed had died, or so the Cat believed. Now, he wasn't all that sure.
As the cats pupils dilated, he growled something deep in his chest. It wasn't something the cat did lightly. It meant the number was really upset. Very Upset. He growled to himself and couldn't help but want to attack Leon. The only thing stopping him? Adam in his arms. The boy had wrapped himself around Train. The cat had reached for his gun and had it in his hands. But he couldn't really move because of Adam's grip on him. He knew if he did most likely Adam would fall with him.
No matter how wounded the Cat was, nor how much he wanted blood he wasn't going to risk Adam. For a odd reason Leon backed off, but not before he attacked them. In a quick and agile movement Train turned one arm keeping the boy's weight while the other tried to take the blows with his gun. The first wave hit Hades' but pushed Train and Adam back a bit. The second one, he was not prepared for. The only way to avoid this one was to dodge, if he did that. Train's eyes wavered for only a second before locking on Adam.
The boy raced through his mind. If train tried to dodge, Adam would get hit instead. Train's eyes looked back at Leon, who seemed to be scared for some reason Train could not understand. His eyes didn't stay there though. They caught the second wind attack that was coming right for them. He did the only thing he could. He threw out his arm as Hades took most of the blow. The rest came around the gun, cutting up most of Train's arm and the side of his face. Not only that but it took a big chunk out of his side.
Train couldn't stop himself this time. He let out a cry that was like hell itself. That had gotten him hard. Train's vision after the blow finished instantly started to blur. He staggered a bit but it was Adam's small weight on him that made the cat try to hold himself together. His entire outfit was shredded because of the attack. So was Train's body in a way. Blood hit the roof where they stood. It wasn't a good thing. Train had already been injured, this was just making things a lot worse.
He looked at Adam, his eyes shaking a bit from the pain. As he heard Adam he saw him start to go down. Train staggered at about the same time, but luckily it looked like he had bent down to catch Adam. The cat wrapped his arms around Adam as he slowly pulled himself back up. He held Adam in his arms bridal style. "I'm sorry.. I should of been more careful." he whispered. Though Train was hiding it, he could barely move, let alone carry adam.
His legs felt like nothing underneath him. He didn't think he would be going anywhere, and there was still that matter of The Apostles. Train wouldn't be able to dodge/and or take any more attacks from Leon or any of the others. The cat was shot. He felt pain course through his body as his scarlet blood hit the ground like it was raining. It was probably no wonder Adam wasn't covered with it by now. He would probably notice Train's side too, if he hadn't already. Train closed his eyes as he flinched a bit from it all.
He took as step forward only causing more blood to fall. That was when, it finally happened. Train felt himself go down. His knees hit the roof rather forcefully. He was careful that he had taken the blow and nothing had happened to Adam who was still in his arms. Train's vision was cloudy and he could barely see Adam at all. His body shook without his own consent. Though through it all the cat was smirking, SMIRKING?! Why would anyone be smirking through this? If anyone could, it was Train Heartnet.
Even through it all he still hadn't been tamed. He would always remain the free cat. He glanced at Adam with a face full of pain though his eyes still did not show defeat. His cheek was bleeding now because of the cut he had received. His eyes softened as he could just make out the boy though he was right there. "I-I'm sorry, that I wasn't any help to you." he said still trying to hold his facade of number 13. He couldn't help but smile though. If this was the end it wasn't so bad.
At least he had done something that would of made Saya proud of him. Yeah, she would probably knock him upside the head for getting killed, but still he would have died protecting someone. Train couldn't help but let a small laugh form in his throat. "Heh. This is nothing, not even a flesh wound, for me." he mumbled before coughing up blood over Adam so it wouldn't hit him. Even now, the cat was still trying to protect the boy he had made a deep promise to. He wasn't going to stop that promise any time soon.

Adam watched in silence as the Black Cat responded to the attacks. It was the one that hit him that struck a nerve. A strong one. Still, Adam had to give his brother kudos for delivering such a brutal attack. Blood had splattered over his clothes and onto his face. The sweet smell filled Adam's nostrils. He watched as Train faltered about and bled. He'd die if things kept going as they were. Patiently, the homunculus waited for the man to pass out. It didn't happen. Instead, he stood standing there and even had a smirk. Train even still had the strength to talk. Adam felt admiration spread more throughout his body but... that fondness was like adding fuel to a raging fire.
"Don't be stupid, Mister! You're a great help but I think it's time for you to rest..." Adam said in a soothing tone despite the rage he was ready to let loose. He pressed again the man's pressure points which shut off the oxygen to the man's brain just long enough to knock him and nothing else.
The Cat and Adam collapsed to the ground as Train went unconscious. Adam had strategically landed so he didn't hit Train to worsen his wounds but landing in such a fashion caused the boy's arm to dislocate. He paid no mind but instead took the tattered jacket and wrapped as much of Train's wounds as he could. As he did this, he heard Leon call from behind.
"A-Adam, I didn't mean to! I-I was j-just so angry all of the sudden again. I didn't mean to actually hurt the guy! I swear! F-Forgive me! He should've dodged it anyway! I mean he could have, right? That guy is stupid! It's not my fault!" the blue-haired kid stammered.
Adam stood up and looked at his shoulder which was at an awkward position. He placed his forearm in between his legs and forced his arm back into the correct position. There was a loud crack. The blonde cracked his knuckles and then his neck. His green eyes looked like acidic toxic waste even as they were narrowed. It was an eerie sight. Especially when he was dripping in the blood of another person's. Adam licked the palm of his hand and let the metallic taste spread throughout his being. His eyes averted to Hades which laid in Train's hand. Without looking up quite yet, Adam spoke.
"You're childish. Trying to blame Uncle for your own fault. You see his gun? Hades... That's what it's called. I would use it. If it didn't belong to him. If it didn't belong to my beloved Uncle that you injured out of your impulsiveness," Adam's toxic gaze looked up and on contact, it was just Adam's look bore a hole into his brother.
Adam moved fast to the rooftop that Leon levitated above. Not as fast as Train, but with training he could be just as fast. For now, Adam's agility would do. Before Leon's eyes located his new opponent, Adam jumped and grabbed onto Leon's ankle. He pulled Leon down, slamming him onto the roof of the building and used his brother as a landing pad so he couldn't harm himself. Leon coughed up droplets of blood and saliva.
"I-I'm sorry! It won't happen again!"
"Brother... I'll forgive you but that doesn't mean you won't go unpunished. I won't kill you. Papa would get mad but you will endure the pain I will give you. It won't be equivalent to what Uncle Train is feeling right now... So feel lucky," said Adam as he stood above Leon.
He tapped Leon's collarbone and smiled sadistically. "Do you know how many pounds it takes to break one's collarbone?" Adam didn't wait for an answer, "Only twenty pounds."
Adam's foot slammed down onto the boy's collarbone, breaking it. Leon let out a yell that only someone as sadistic as Creed and Adam would consider as beautiful as a symphony. Next was Leon's arms. The blonde homunculus grabbed the boy's right arm and within seconds made it bend in the opposite direction of where it was supposed to. As Adam grabbed the left arm, the sweet aroma of blood filled the air again. Adam looked up to see the bloodwhip from Charden. He jumped out of the way and stood up straight. He looked at Charden in a quizzical fashion.
"Don't you think you've punished him enough?" the man said in an almost monotonous tone.
"Hardly," Adam replied bluntly.
"Adam! C'mon! He didn't mean to hurt Black Cat so much," Sister Kyoko vouched as she appeared beside Big Brother Charden.
Adam sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose before speaking. "Why not just leave me alone and let me do as I wish? Resisting isn't going to help Brother Leon at all, ya know? I'm just using my hands. Not like I have a weapon," he spoke.
"He won't do it again so let him go." Adam shook his head. "Then we'll have to use force."
Kyoko took a deep breath and spat fireballs. Adam moved swiftly and avoided them with ease. The way she used them was like how one would use a gun. If you moved just before the trigger was squeezed, then it was easy. However Charden got into the mix as well. Thin blood tentacles-like things flew out. Adam managed to dodge them as well and as he dodged, he managed to get closer to Leon.
Leon groaned and stood up, holding his broken arm. He was smart as he tried not to move his neck around so much with his collarbone. He moved towards Charden and Kyoko. Adam's wild eyes narrowed. He was determined to get in just a few more hits before his craving for revenge was satisfied.
Charden's bloodwhips managed to grab hold of Adam's ankle. The blonde looked back at pushed onward. Kyoko once again was ready to attack. With a smirk, Adam had moved and the girl had foolishly continued to attack. Her fire burnt the bloodwhips that restrained him. Adam took this precious moment to rush towards Leon. He landed a clean punch into the softness of Leon's stomach. The blue-haired boy coughed up more spit that was mixed with blood.
Within the next few moments, Adam's broke three of Leon's ribs and fracted one. He raised his fist again to break the one he fractured but Charden wrapped his blood around Adam's throat and waist. Soon all four of his limbs were restrained as well. Kyoko stood in front of Leon protectively.
"He's lucky, ya know? Mama has yet to give me the nanomachines that my Eve has in her. He's lucky I'm not a biological weapon yet... But I'm done. He's received enough punishment," Adam finally spoke again.
Charden grit his teeth and Kyoko as well. Leon seemed to have already passed out from the pain. 'How pathetic..'.
"Good..."
Hesitantly, the man lowered the young boy and released the one around Adam's waist first. Charden made it seem like he was carefully letting loose a rabid dog and trying not to get him or others bit. Soon all that restrained Adam was the bloodwhip around his neck. Adam licked his lips, the metallic tinge of blood hit his tastebuds again.
"I'll look forward to seeing my brothers and sisters again. Tell Papa I love him. Bye bye for now~" Adam said and returned to the building with Train.
He knelt next to the unconscious body. He waited patiently for Train to regain conscious and never let his eyes gaze away even in the slightest way. He didn't have to. Especially since he figured that his sister and brother were thoroughly taught well within the last moments.
